Job Summary

The Restaurant Cleaning Area Supervisor is responsible for overseeing cleaning operations across multiple restaurant locations within a designated area. This role ensures all facilities meet company cleanliness standards, health regulations, and safety requirements. The supervisor manages cleaning teams, conducts inspections, coordinates schedules, and maintains high standards of sanitation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support cleaning staff across assigned restaurant locations

  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards

  • Develop and manage cleaning schedules to ensure full coverage

  • Train new and existing team members on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols

  • Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and chemicals

  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and place orders as needed

  • Address and resolve performance issues or operational challenges

  • Collaborate with restaurant managers to ensure cleaning standards align with operational needs

  • Prepare reports on inspections, incidents, and team performance

  • Ensure compliance with local health department and food safety regulations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in cleaning, janitorial, hospitality, or restaurant environments

  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and cleaning best practices

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

  • Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation

Working Conditions

  • Frequent travel between restaurant locations 

  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and kitchen environments

  • Physical activity including standing, bending, lifting (up to 40 lbs), and walking for extended periods

Compensation 

  • $25.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience 

Schedule

  • 20hrs/week (4hrs per night)
  • 3AM-7AM nightly
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
